Why Visit Morocco
Morocco is a sensory overload in the best possible way. The labyrinthine medinas of Marrakech and Fez, the golden dunes of the Sahara, the blue streets of Chefchaouen, and the smell of spices and cedar everywhere. It is Africa, it is the Arab world, it is Mediterranean, and it is entirely its own thing.

What to Expect
A riad stay is essential, and the food (tagines, couscous, fresh mint tea) is one of the highlights of any trip. Navigating the medinas takes patience, and hiring a guide for your first day in Fez or Marrakech is worth every dirham. The light here is extraordinary, especially in the desert and in the blue-washed streets of the north.
